Three new services have been opened to access universities in Türkiye and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office in order to provide career planning for university students and to support qualified, fast, and proper employment of young people.

“University Career Centers Book”, “Talent Gate Platform” and “Career Planning Course Sample Curriculum” delivered to university rectors and career center managers, it is aimed to support university students' career planning and to ensure the effective management of career centers.

Young people's adaptation to the labor market will be accelerated and their employment processes will be supported by providing career guidance and counseling to students and graduates through university career centers. “University Career Centers Book”, which was monitored by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan through the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office and prepared for the effective working of career centers, was sent to universities.

In “University Career Centers Book”, the organizational structure of the career centers and implementation of the provided services are explained in detail. “The Career Center Work Plan” in the book provides information about career services for young people, the roles, responsibilities, and contributions of stakeholders. The book published by Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office is the cornerstone of career centers.

Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office put “Talent Gate” platform into the service of universities in order to contribute to the qualified employment of students and graduates. “Talent Gate” platform, which was prepared based on the needs of career centers, enables young people and employers to keep in constant communication regardless of time and place.

Students and graduates will be able to take the first step into their career network by creating a profile on “Talent Gate”. Through the created profile; career fairs, events, and trainings can be viewed then, and young people will be able to apply to these events and training through “Talent Gate”. Also, “Talent Gate” will make it easier for employers to reach the proper human resource quickly. Employers will more easily announce job and internship postings, career fairs and events to be held within their organization to young people through the network, while young people will be able to contact employers through these announcements. In addition, young people will be able to make appointments with career counselors in career centers with different modules on the network. The communication between the student and the employer will be monitored continuously through the career centers and “Talent Gate”.

“Career Planning Course” was sent to universities by Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office. It is aimed that young people to have career awareness in the early stages of their higher education with “Career Planning Course”, which is required to be compulsory in the first year of university. Thus, students who will gain insight into the expectations and demands of the real sector will be provided to acquire skills related to their personal and professional development and get maximum efficiency from their education. The aim, learning outcomes, and sample curriculum of “Career Planning Course” were sent to rectors of universities.
