"Talent Gate" career platform, put into service by Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office, was opened for all parties in order to bring together students/graduates, employers, and university career centers online.

A pilot study of the online career platform "Talent Gate", which was launched to support career centers expanded in all universities, was put into use as of September 2019 by the command of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The platform was first used by 130 universities for “National Talent Fairs” in February-March 2020.

In these days of staying at home due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19), the need to use the platform more widely has arisen in order to support university students/graduates in directing their careers and to facilitate employers' access to university students/graduates. From this point of view, the platform is offered to all universities, university students/graduates, and employers.

Until now, more than 340 thousand students and graduates, more than 1.400 employers, and 178 universities have registered with Talent Gate. Considering the universities of students/graduates studying abroad, there are 564 different universities on the platform. Talent Gate, it is aimed to improve the existing capacity in the field of career services in Türkiye, to diversify and expand the services of university career centers, and to increase their quality and make them more effective.

With the platform, students and graduates, employers, and university career centers come together and interact in a 360-degree digital environment without time and place constraints.

Talent Gate, designed as a modern career platform that can be used to form and develop career awareness among university students from the moment they take their first steps on the campus, will expand the services of career centers to include all students and graduates and make these services trackable and measurable in a way that allows them to be developed, and it will also be an effective tool that can be used to bring students and graduates together with employers without the time and place constraints.

Millions of university students will be provided with simultaneous and equal services and opportunities in employment with the platform, and it will be easier for employers to access the talents they are looking for. The platform, which will enable large enterprises and all employers in the country to access the talents they need as unmediated and quickly, will provide SMEs to reach qualified human resources.

All job/internship postings and other career opportunities of public institutions for university students and graduates will also take place in "Talent Gate". Thus, all university students and graduates will be equally informed about postings at public institutions. In addition, universities will be able to track their graduates through the platform. With the platform, employers will be able to announce different career opportunities such as job/internship advertisements, training programs, and scholarships to students and graduates in Türkiye and abroad registered in the platform, and receive applications.

Through "Talent Gate", students will be able to create their professional profiles with information about their education and competencies, apply for job/internship postings published by employers, and be informed about career events, training programs, and scholarship announcements.

Employers will be able to interact actively with students and graduates, and reliably reach the knowledge and skill levels of young talents, thanks to the government-based platform they will be registered for free.

Talent Gate will support university-industry cooperation at the corporate level, and will also enable communication between career centers and employers.

Until recently, as in the most developed universities of the world, career centers of some universities in Türkiye had to use foreign and high-cost software to provide counseling services and to deliver job advertisements. With "Talent Gate", the first and only domestic software in this field was put into service and offered to universities. Since it is a national software, the platform ensures the information security of young talents, also a significant amount of foreign exchange expense spent on foreign software has also been saved.
