National Talent Fairs 2020 Program Announced

Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, the 2020 fair program of career events organized with the theme of "National Talent Fairs" across the country has been announced. Within the scope of career events organized under the leadership of Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office, fairs will be held in 10 provinces next year with the cooperation of 130 universities.

"National Talent Fairs" career event is organized by Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office, Talent Acquisition and Organization Department, in cooperation with universities, public and private sector institutions, professional chambers, and relevant non-governmental organizations. The fairs aim to make university students/graduates feel they are talented and to provide equal opportunities in employment and internship for university students in every region of the country. In addition to providing information about career opportunities in their institutions, participant employers organize plenty of events that directly contact young people at their stands in the event area. In this context; presentations, seminars, information sessions, trainings, workshops, interviews, and interview simulations enable young people to determine career fields suitable for their education, interests, and skills while still being a student, and to access job and internship opportunities in the province where they continue their education.

In addition to the opportunities, it provides to young people, "National Talent Fairs" career events also support the relevant institutions in human resources processes. It is also aimed to make university career centers more effective by ensuring the active participation of host and partner universities in all processes and strengthening relations with employers. In addition to universities, qualified students and graduates are brought to public institutions by increasing the employer brand equity of public institutions. Also, increasing the awareness and capacity of SMEs, which meet the majority of employment needs and have talent shortages, about human resources and talent acquisition processes is among the main purposes of the fairs.

"National Talent Fairs" career events were organized in 2019 in 8 provinces in different regions with the cooperation of 87 universities. The career event, which brings together more than 70.000 young talents and 1.315 employers, 351 of which are public institutions, in its first year, aims to reach more young talents every year.
