With the aim of positioning Türkiye as the "World's Talent Hub", Talent Fairs, have been successfully carried out for four years in 23 different points in Türkiye and 14 different regions in the world. In this year, under the coordination of Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office, talent fairs are starting with thematic fairs to be held in 3 cities at an international level.
“International Health, Aesthetic and Medical Career Fair” in Izmir, “International Agriculture and Forestry Career Fair” in Adana, and “International Finance, Trade, Logistics, and Informatics Career Fair” will be held for the first time in TürkiyeCentury 2023 with the participation of approximately 300,000 young people. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Trade, and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as well as Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Digital Transformation Office, Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Finance Office and Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office will be partners in these fairs. In addition to the partners, university career centers will also assume responsibility at the fairs.
International Talent Fairs will bring together all parties interested in the field, including participating institutions and organizations, educational institutions, industry professionals, and young people who are continuing their education in this field or have graduated from our country and around the world. The fairs will contribute to increasing employment, sharing new developments, establishing a professional communication network between the parties, and supporting entrepreneurship by raising awareness among our human resources, especially young people, about the relevant sectors.
Reasons for the selection of each province to host the Fairs, which will include many career events that will support the employability of young people, such as speeches, interviews, information sessions, case studies, and workshops, lie in the characteristics of these provinces related to the Fair themes.
İzmir, which will host “International Health, Aesthetics, and Medical Career Fair”, on February 17-18 2023, is known for its establishment within the borders of the first hospital in history and for being referred to as "the place where death does not enter" and "the city where wills are not opened" since the Roman Period.
The Fair, which will carry the power of the past into the present, is aimed to significantly contribute to the goal of positioning Izmir as an international center of attraction for our country, which is among the top 10 in the world in health exports.
The fair, organized in collaboration between Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office and the Ministry of Health, will be led by Ege University and will involve the cooperation of 18 universities in the Aegean Region, including faculties of medicine and health sciences as well as relevant departments.
“International Finance, Trade, Logistics, and Informatics Career Fair” will be held on February 27–28, 2023, in Istanbul, which has been the center of trade routes such as the Silk Road and the Spice Road throughout history; today Istanbul is the key player of “One Belt One Road” Project, the hub of international trade and logistics, and will be the heart of this sector with its “Financial Center". Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office is cooperating with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Digital Transformation Office, Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Finance Office and Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office for the fair, which holds great opportunities for our human resources.
Adana was chosen for "International Agriculture and Forestry Career Fair" to be held on March 9–10, 2023, because Adana pioneered the use of technical tools and tractors in the agricultural field in the Republic's history and also hosted Türkiye’s first international fair, "Agriculture Fair," in 1924.
In this fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will cooperate with Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office. The fair is organized by Konya and Adana Universities under the head of Çukurova University, which are pioneers in agriculture and agriculture-based industrial production and have an important place in animal husbandry in Türkiye, and are coming together for young people.
The International Career Fairs, which will also reach the members of Organization of Turkic States and Balkan countries, will provide an opportunity for employers and young people to establish one-on-one contact by eliminating physical and psychological distances. By making Türkiye the meeting point for talents and companies from all over the world at all levels, it will contribute to transforming our country into a center of attraction for world-class talents and positioning it as the "World's Talent Hub".
